Congratulations to the 2007 recipients Yamiche Alcindor (CAS '09) and Alejandro Delgado (SFS '08)!

The Sarah A. Butler Scholarship Fund was established in 1997 in loving memory of Sarah Ann Butler, mother of Georgetown University alumna Jan Hice (SBA'92).

Ms. Hice and four classmates
- Karen A. Clanton (CAS '92), Angelique Y. McLin-Kelley (SBA '92), Tajamika A. Paxton (SBA '92), Ava Rogers (SFS '92) - founded this fund in an effort to give back to their alma mater, assist current students during their University career, and promote Sarah Butler's legacy of providing continuous education.

Each spring semester, we award at least two recipients with $500+ book scholarships and the opportunity to form a mentoring relationship with any of the sponsors. Over the last seven years, we have awarded more than $7,000.

All applications and supporting materials for Spring 2008 awards must be received by November 30, 2007.

We also welcome any donations and any feedback you might have. Hoya Saxa!
